Pearson JETSET – English

The JETSET exams are a general English language exam. They are available in two formats; Junior and Senior.

The exams are available at 7 levels;

• JETSET 1 – Junior, Below A1
• JETSET 2 – Junior, A1 (Beginner)
• JETSET 3 – Junior, A2 (Pre-Intermediate)
• JETSET 4 – Junior, B1 (Intermediate)
• JETSET 5 – Senior, B2 (Upper Intermediate)
• JETSET 6 – Senior, C1 (Advanced)
• JETSET 7 – Senior, C2 (Proficiency)

The JETSET exams are available ‘On-Demand’; all we need is 4 weeks’ notice.

Test format: Approx. 3-4 hours. The exam consists of 4 tests; Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing.

Marking: Each of the 4 tests are awarded a % mark; an overall average mark of 50% in the listening, reading and writing papers; plus 50% in the speaking test is required to pass the exam.

The overall grades are awarded as follows:

Pass: 50-59%

Merit: 60-74%

Distinction: 75-100%

Results: 3-5 weeks after the exam date

Certificates: 4-6 weeks after the exam date
